Last week Joanne attended a B2B event, where members discussed the best ways to build trust in the working environment. So, Joanne thought she’d share her top 5 Tips to Building B2B Relationships with you.


1.     Be Yourself

People buy from people who they know like and trust. The best way to build relationships in business is to get to know each other. Ad the best way to do tat…  be yourself.

2.     First impressions

You don’t get a second chance at a first impression. in fact, you only get a few seconds to make that first impression, so even when meeting people online, dress for the occasion.

3.     Make the most of your meetings

Be prompt and be prepared. Do your research. Listen, take notes and don’t interrupt and try to ask open questions.

4.     Good Communication

Good business relationships rely on good communication. Concentrate on communicating effectively and simply.  honest and open communication builds trust, conveys knowledg, and shows empathy.

5.     Keep in touch

You have done the hard work so keep in contact. Your prospects, customers and referrers shouldn’t have the opportunity to forget who you are.

 

Oh yeah and don’t be an ass.  Extra one for good measure!!!
