– Don’t use all capital letters in the headline. It’s ok to capitalise a few words for emphasis, but don’t use all caps because it’s hard to read. Capitalising the first letter of each word can increase response rates.
– Use quotation marks and other forms of punctuation. Using quotation marks around the entire headline sparks interest in what you have to say. Using other forms of punctuation can also create interest such as question marks, exclamation marks and dashes but don’t go overbroad
– Length isn’t everything it’s the words that count. Make sure your words speak to your prospect, pique their interest to get them to read on and make sure it contains some kind of benefit.

– Its about the reader. Always speak to your prospect’s interests and desires. Tell them what you can do for them, how you can change their life, how you can make things easier or better.
– Don’t trick prospects. Don’t disappoint your reader by tricking them into reading your copy with an offer of Free stuff and then finding out they have to pay in the long run. Yes, it may grab their attention but people will be disappointed and annoyed.
– Never go without a headline. Don’t ever create any kind of sales letter, social media post or email campaign without a headline.
